Why launch a Minnesota TA Collaborative?

We're growing a statewide ecosystem of technical assistance (TA) providers and grant writers to accelerate support for communities across Minnesota as they prepare to apply for and secure federal and state funding for climate and clean energy projects. This initiative is supported by the McKnight Foundation and coordinated by the Clean Energy Resources Team (CERTs) and Great Plains Institute.

Through monthly TA Collab Meetups, informal Coffee Hours, and our Collab Joint Trainings, we aim to foster a community of practice to strengthen relationships and coordination between TA providers to improve support for MN communities and Tribes seeking to resource their climate plans and clean energy projects.

We aim to improve how TA providers support communities journeying across stages of federal and state funding, which include: pre-application, application, post-award support, and capacity building.

Our MN TA Directory is a new tool with a 2-fold purpose: (1) help MN TA providers find and directly coordinate with their peers and (2) help communities discover technical assistance providers and resources. The directory is organized by sector areas, types of services, and stages of grant support.

Interested in joining? If you're an equity-centered TA provider or grant writer serving MN communities, we invite you to complete our TA intake survey.

Navigator support available! If you'd like help navigating our directory or have a question about how to connect to the TA provider or resource you're seeking, please contact us!
